Uber Car Rental

The Uber Car Rental program is available through their three vehicle partners. Each partner has different requirements and are offered in select cities.

First you must sign up as an Uber Driver here.

After you sign up as an Uber Driver, visit the “Vehicles” section of your Partner Dashboard. Check out the three vehicle partners to see if they have a program that fits your needs. The partners offer low commitment cars with no long term contracts. You can return the Uber Car Rental when you are ready.

Rent the car by the hour, the week , or even longer. Whatever works with your schedule. Keep the Uber Car Rental as little or as long as you like.

There are also car options such as unlimited miles and basic maintenance.

  1. I want to rent a car for work & vacation in Boston then on to Vermont & Montreal. Can I do that? Also do I get a discount for a LYFT to the airport since I’m a current driver?

    1. Hi Sheila! It is my understanding that you are not allowed to cross state lines, let alone country lines while driving for either Lyft or Uber…. let alone get a rental car for both business and personal for that. You have to drive within your city or state, and have to rack up a certain amount of rides before even being able or allowed to drive the rental car personally. It is mainly for people wanting to drive for Uber or Lyft who do not have a car. As far as a discount, I think all rates are the same no matter what. I hope this helps!
